Postdoctoral Scholar (LBNL)- 79873

This position has been filled.

The ENIGMA team seeks a postdoctoral fellow to apply high-throughput genetic techniques to address key questions in microbial ecology. The successful candidate will develop a genetics-based research program to either (1) elucidate regulatory networks involved in the stress responses of diverse microbial species, (2) characterize metabolic networks in the same species using a combination of experimental and modeling approaches, (3) infer the evolutionary mechanisms by which closely related species adapt to their environments, or (4) infer the molecular mechanisms by which microbes thrive in diverse environments.
